Water Management Planning
When the bacterium known as Legionella causes pneumonia, the condition is called Legionnaires disease. Legionnaires disease affects between 8,000 and 18,000 people a year in the United States. Approximately 10% of all cases are fatal. Without an effective water management plan in place, Legionella can grow in showers, drinking fountains, faucets, decorative fountains, cooling towers, hot tubs, and more.
